Tours available daily at 2.30pm & 7.00pm, from 1st April to 1st November.
Groups accommodated outside normal daily times (24 hours notice must be given)
Tours take approx 1hour
Starting point at Bog Oak Sculpture (beside Trim Tourist Office)
Our guides will inform you of the history of the heritage town of Trim from medieval times up to the 19th Century.
The tour will visit the following sites: Sheep’s Gate, The Yellow Steeple, St Mary’s Abbey, The Old Gaol and follow the outside walls of King John’s Castle.
Please note that all guides are volunteers & the ticket price is to cover insurance and running costs. Also some of the information from the tour of “The Keep of the Castle” may be replicated. Remember to dress appropriately for all weather conditions
