Killeen Castle golf course was open to the public in 2009 and since then has played host to the Irish Ladies open and the Solheim Cup which saw Europe take on America.

How to get there?
To get to Killeen Castle from Pillo Hotel, simply head north on the N2 after exiting the hotel. From the N2 turn left L50161, from there continue on to the R155. Take the R125 onto Killeen Road, turn left on the Curragha Road, turn on to the R125 and go through two roundabouts. At the next roundabout take the second exit, at the following roundabout take the first exit and continue onto Killeen Road, Killeen Castle will be on your right.
